Philip and Jessyca Rexing
Lead Pastor
Pastor Philip and Jessyca Rexing, along with their children Liam, Madeline and Annabelle, are excited to serve at Park Avenue. They have a passion for reaching the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a desire to positively impact the lives of those around them.
Pastor Philip first received the call to ministry as a high school student in his home town of McLeansboro IL, and immediately began to serve wherever God would open the door. While a student at Missouri S&T he served successfully in roles such as Youth Ministry Sponsor, Boys Ministry Director, and Campus Student Pastor. After college he served as the Director of the Church Health Team at New Life Church of God, and then as the Lead Pastor of CrossPointe Church of God. Pastor Philip began serving Park Avenue in July of 2023 and he currently serves as the Chairman of the Illinois Church of God Youth Board as well.
Jessyca Rexing was born and raised in Cianorte, Brazil. There she followed in her parent’s footsteps of serving the church in whatever capacity was needed, this included experience in Children’s Ministry, Nursery Care, and Community Outreach.
